Our Mentors
Seth Kistoor Chand Boochra
Known as the Silver King of India, Seth Kistoor Chand Boochra was our founding father who laid down the first in-house, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in 1897. An influential personality, he solely controlled the silver pricing in the Indian market for a very long time. He also became the largest buyer of silver in India during the Second World War between 1928 and 1934. In fact, all the silver in the Northern and Eastern Indian belt was purchased by him during that time. As a visionary, he incepted The Bullion Association Limited – Rajasthan in 1926, which ended up being the only union for the trade of silver bars. We continually take inspiration from the pace that he has set for the industry and our heritage.
Seth Lalit Kumar Boochra
As a tightly-knit, family-based organisation, we accolade much of our standing today to what Seth Lalit Kumar Boochra started in his time. Taking a page from his father’s legacy, he altered the business model to transform the workshop into a fully-functioning factory. With increased production and popularity, the brand image became a symbol of pride. Being a philanthropist, Seth Lalit Kumar Boochra uplifted the lifestyle of his artisans and karrigars as well, generating long-term wealth for them all. Seth Lalit Kumar Boochra is the Chairperson at Sangeeta Boochra Jaipur and the Vice-Chairperson of Bullion Association Limited Partner Indogem Group – one of the leading gemstone manufacturers of the world.
